Five Finger Pen Stand (With Wooden base)

As the name suggests, five finger shells have elongated finger-like pointy structures which are attached to its body. These are porcupine-like shells with a natural pale pink finish. These have a premium and natural finish with some brown strands here and there. The pen stand is available in two forms. The first one is with fingers or the spikes and the second one is without the spikes. The pen stand has a wooden circular base with a premium finish. The base has a flat end which makes it stable and easy to use on desks and tables.

The five finger shell has a cut on its top which is polished & glazed. It can store various stationery items like pens, pencils, and markers. The outer surface of the shell is polished and finished to give it a premium finish. The top half of the shell is cut such that the shell has individual space for each item. Each individual spacing makes it comfortable to store each and every item. The stand is very helpful in organizing each and every item like pens, pencils, rulers, and markers.

A seashell or sea shell, also known simply as a shell, is a naturally occurring, hard, protective outer layer created by an animal that lives in the sea. If you've ever walked on a beach, you've seen seashells, and maybe even collected some to take home. Most shells that are found on beaches are usually made of calcium carbonate. Most seashells come from molluscs, a large group of marine animals including clams, mussels, and oysters, which exude shells as a protective covering.  These shells, because of their bright colors, a rich variety of shapes and designs, and abundance along seashores, have long been used for ornaments, tools, and coins. Seashells are commonly found in beach drift, which are natural deposits found along strandlines on beaches by the waves and the tides.

Seashells have been used as a medium of exchange and currency in various places, including many Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean islands, also in North America, Africa, and the Caribbean. Seashells have often been used as tools, because of their strength and the variety of their shapes. Seashells have been used as musical instruments, wind instruments for many hundreds if not thousands of years. Whole seashells or parts of seashells have been used as jewelry or in other forms of adornment since prehistoric times. Shells historically have been and still are made into, or incorporated into, necklaces, pendants, buttons, beads, earrings, brooches, rings, belt buckles, and other uses. Small pieces of colored and iridescent shell have been used to create mosaics and inlays, which have been used to decorate walls, furniture, and boxes. Large numbers of whole seashells, arranged to form patterns, have been used to decorate mirror frames and furniture.

Please Note: Seashells are naturally occurring substances. The availability, size, and color differs from product to product and varies from season to season, depending on the lot. The actual product might vary from the pictures because of the very fact that the lighting conditions when the picture was taken were different or a lot of the product was different. We promise you to do our best to fulfill our commitments and match your expectations but please understand that we don’t want to overdo and harm the ecosystem. We honestly prefer preserving the feel and appearance of the product as well as the environment by keeping it as natural as possible.
